By using the fireplace as the focal point in this family room we were able to create a comfortable area for the family's casual everyday use yet inject an aurora of formality suitable for entertaining friends, relatives, and co-workers. A window treatment placed around the door leading to the deck provides visual appeal and balance
while still retaining the doors functionality.
