Interior Redesign is as simple as repositioning some of your existing furniture, possibly adding a fresh coat of paint, or maybe changing the color of the walls and adding a few finishing touches to give the room the look and feel you're after.

Sometimes known as "One Day Decorating", Interior Redesign updates the look of your room by making use of the furniture and accessories you already have and love by arranging them in a fresh new way. You get the designer look but not the designer cost!

At Inviting Interiors we understand that even small changes can have a dramatic impact. Our goal isn't to change the way you live, but to help you finish off a specific room, or entire home, creating an inviting interior tailored to your individual needs and style.

How does it work ...
The Redesign process begins with an in-depth conversation where we gather important information about you, your home, and your desires for the room. After the initial meeting, we'll choose a day to transform your room. This can be done while you are at work, out running errands, shopping or just relaxing somewhere else in your home.

Typically, we will empty the room so that we may begin with a clean slate. If you've chosen to change the color of the room, we prepare the walls, paint and touch up any areas that are in need of a little work. We then study the rooms physical layout so that we can determine where best to place the larger pieces of furniture. We begin by bringing the furniture back into the room and redecorating with lamps, artwork and accessories either from your own home or that have been purchased on a previously agreed upon budget for the space. With your permission, we will also "shop" your home for other items that may find a place in your redecorated room.

Color
Don't be afraid to add a little color to the room. Whether you add it in as paint on one or all of the walls or in the accessories that are brought into the room, don't shy away from giving your room the "zing" it needs to make a statement. Don't forget, beige is a color too - it doesn't have to be bold to have impact.

Colors, like personalities, come in all varieties. We can help you choose ones that will compliment the space, your pre-existing furniture and your individual taste.

Style
Ok, so you don't know if your style is Contemporary or Modern, Retro or Classic, Federal, Colonial, or Victorian… maybe your an eclectic combination of several styles. No need to worry, we can figure it out and achieve a blend of what appeals to you. Unlike a traditional Interior Design service that follows strict style rules of mix and don't mix, Redesign is about making what you like work with items you already own and in the space you have.

Functionality & Appeal
Very few of us have extra rooms in our home that don't need to serve a specific function. Our rooms are assigned a place in the home such as Formal Living Room, Dinning Room, Family Room, Den, Kitchen, Office, Master Bedroom Suite, Children's Bedroom, or Guest Bedroom. Even our finished basements become "Rec" Rooms. We want each room to fill a purpose but at the same time we want them to have visual appeal and the comfort you deserve.

With the right touch, you can have all that and more. Inviting Interiors will discuss with you your needs and desires for the room, then we will mix in style and comfort to formulate a plan that makes it all come together.
